Difference between Primary aldosteronism and Secondary aldosteronism


Primary Aldosteronism

  • Increase intravascular Volume
  • Decrease RENIN Level
  • Do not have pedal edema
  • Hypertension


Secondary Aldosteronism

  • Decrease intravascular Volume
  • Increase RENIN level 
  • Somtimes have Edematous state
  • Hypotension
