Abdus Salam(Urdu: محمد عبد السلام) (January 29, 1926; Jhang Punjab – November 21, 1996; Oxford, England) was a Pakistani theoretical physicist, astrophysicist and Nobel laureate in Physics for his work in Electro-Weak Theory. Salam,Sheldon Glashow and Steven Weinberg shared the prize for this discovery. Salam holds the distinction of being the first Pakistani and Muslim Nobel Laureate. Professor Sir Abdus Salam is considered to have been one of Pakistan's most influential scientists.

About.... Abdul Qadeer Khan - HI, NI (twice), (Urdu: عبدالقدیر خان; born April 1, 1936 in Bhopal, British India) is a Pakistani nuclear scientist and metallurgical engineer, widely regarded as the founder of Pakistan's nuclear program. His middle name is occasionally rendered 

as Quadeer, Qadir or Qadeer, and his given names are usually abbreviated to A.Q.. He is affectionately refferd to as Mohsin-e-Pakistan(saviour/benefactor of Pakistan) (Urdu: محسنِ پاکستان) in his country.
